EYE CATCHER

Short

Personal inspiration: I take Zoloft for anxiety. One day I lost my pills. Soon I found myself trapped in a customer service phone tree, desperate to talk to a human being who had the power to refill my medication. I thought this experience might make an interesting premise for a short film. ALSO, for years I have been borderline obsessed with “hidden pictures” exercises you sometimes find in kid books and magazines. Since I love spooky tv shows and movies that hide things for us to find, I thought it might be cool to have a creature whose m.o. is to hide until it’s ready to pounce... and that kind of feels like how anxiety works sometimes. And so, we have EYE CATCHER
