Dead End

Dead End

Virtual Production Short

Shot over two intense days with cutting-edge in-camera visual effects (ICVFX) in VP, Dead End is a visceral survival story set against the shifting sands of a world on the brink.

In a near-future Singapore swallowed by desert, two reluctant companions—Jax, hardened but weary, and Ben, an idealist clinging to hope—are tasked with a seemingly routine mission: deliver a mysterious package across a vast wasteland. When a brutal sandstorm derails their journey, the straightforward job spirals into a desperate struggle for survival. As the desert closes in and trust erodes, they must confront not only the dangers of the landscape, but the secrets their cargo holds.

Blending photorealistic virtual environments—endless canyons, scorched horizons, and a collapsing desert world—with grounded practical elements, Dead End pushes the possibilities of ICVFX to craft an immersive, high-stakes tale of endurance and fractured loyalty.

The Awakening

The Awakening

Music Video
Los Angeles Premiere

The Awakening is a psychedelic sci-fi music video inspired by a profound ayahuasca journey. Blending original music, contemporary dance, and otherworldly imagery, it unfolds as a cosmic fever dream, evoking interdimensional travel through elevated states of consciousness to explore themes of identity, authenticity, and radical transformation, guided by what shamans call the Divine Feminine, a nurturing energy beyond labels, guiding through portals where the ego is forced to die and reinvent itself.

Created on a micro budget through an intuitive process of weaving non-AI found footage with original music, The Awakening embodies August Falcon’s pursuit of visionary storytelling where music, cinema, and performance collide to create immersive worlds. It is the second release under his new artist name, a symbolic act of creative and spiritual rebirth after years of working as Justin Chase. His debut music video Embers has already earned recognition on the festival circuit with multiple Best Music Video honors, establishing the foundation for an upcoming album to be released as singles, each with their own unique music video, beginning October 2025.
