Narciso (11), is a Black orphan boy living at Carmen's house until he is adopted. He dreams of having a family, but has had only disappointments so far. To cheer the boy up, his friend, Alexandre gifts him an old basketball, with the promise that, if he scores three baskets, a genie will appear and make his wishes come true.
